UNI-T UT253A Large Jaw Leakage Current Clamp Meter
UT253 series are large current high precision leakage clamp meters that can measure up to 1200A. Its large 80mm×80mm jaw is able to clamp up to 96mm cables or flat-steel ground wires. UT253’ s intelligent design can measure leakage current, three-phase voltages and display them on the screen simultaneously.
Beneath the clamp, the UT253A’s front face is dominated by a crisp, high‑contrast graphical display that organizes multiple readings at once. A soft backlight ensures legibility in dimly lit environments, while simple, tactile buttons flank the screen, each precisely keyed for rapid selection and data capture. The ergonomic placement of controls allows technicians to maintain a natural grip, minimizing hand fatigue during extended use. The housing’s gently contoured sides and balanced weight distribution further enhance comfort, even when working overhead or in confined spaces.
