Description
LM293P is a dual comparator that can operate with a maximum of 30 Volts of supply, it is normally used to compare a signal with a reference voltage or two signals with each other, it has an open collector output that allows the user to configure the output as a high voltage logic output and can be used to enable the comparator as an AND gate.
Internally the LM293P consists of two completely independent comparators that are designed to operate from a single power supply with a wide voltage range. Internally, each comparator contains an array of Darlington PNP transistors at the input, allowing the device to operate with a very high gain.
You can use the LM293P comparator in control and automation processes, motor controllers, detector circuits, analog-digital converters, among other applications.
