Quick rules
- Need a small Linux computer (desktop, server, media player, home automation)? Choose a Raspberry Pi 4, 5 or 500.
- Need to read sensors, drive motors with exact timing, or run on a battery? A Raspberry Pi Pico, an Arduino or an ESP32 is usually a better fit than a full Pi.
- To run a Raspberry Pi you need a power supply (5 V / 3 A for the Pi 4, 5 V / 5 A for the Pi 5) and a microSD card or other storage. Check each product page for what is included.
- Cases, fans and heatsinks are specific to a model: a Raspberry Pi 4 case does not fit a Raspberry Pi 5. Check the model named in the product title.
- Camera cables and camera boards differ between models too: check that the connector matches your board.
